The development of this course was funded in part by the Government of Canada under the Canadian Agricultural Partnership’s AgriRisk Initiatives Program. Spotted lanternfly have not yet been confirmed in Canada, but infestations in neighbouring U.S. states pose a risk to Ontario’s multibillion dollar grape, fruit-tree and forest industries.
This course provides an in-depth review on spotted lanternfly, covering topics related to species identification, habitat, biology, spread, impacts, and prevention.
In order to receive a certificate of completion for this course, you must read through each module and receive a passing grade of 80% or above on the final exam.
